He Is A God!

  1. It wasn’t long after I came out, that I realized that, at least in my view, man on man sex was significantly different than regular straight sex. There was something…. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it… something special about it.
I have spent the last 25yrs studying the social, political, medical, economic and ecclesiastic minutiae in regard to gay sex and gay culture in general. As it happens, I’m presently reading a very interesting book about gay spirituality through the centuries, that is actually on this site. (Thank you Mr. Cox!) It’s called “The Masculine Cross”. As I have found in so many other areas of my research, gay sex has always been painted in far more spiritual terms than straight sex. Until Mainstream Religion Inc.
With or without Religion Inc.’s acceptance of this fact, the sacredness of man on man sex shines through, even in the 21st Century, when the broader society takes every opportunity to denigrate it. I believe it is our duty to discuss homosex in spiritual terms, so that the ignorance of society becomes accustomed to seeing gay sex in a far more positive light.
We are the light bearers. In this time of devolution, we are called to spread the spirit of Sacred Masculinity.
And to those few of you who fail to grasp the concept, I would say that it says more about you, than it does the concept of the Sacred Male Mythos.

  2. Hey Ben,
I too marvel at the mythical gods you are describing and at the same time, a comment of a mate this morning about the dominance of big cocks in masculine ideology being intimidating, has made my mental aspect of masculinity look for the balance. I think I found it with the line “With a massive, vascular cock he spreads all that Greatness with awesome force” and I realised that a god with a small vascular cock can spread with equal force or even, that some massive cocks may only dribble over and becum cloaked in their own greatness. (Also a sight to behold…)
So although the mythological beauty embraces the strength and size of body and cock as awesome, thinking this through, is an awesome body and humble cock, that shoots pearly whites into the dark night sky, not equally godlike yet with a touch of humility, a reassuring presence of balance between physical and mental godliness, knotted together.
We are all gods remember, not mythical gods, we find penises sacred and search all men for their godly balance.

Footnote to doubters AndyX and Billy – wanking all over the word salad is fun not arrogance and between the lines/leaves you find masculinity is joyfully, blissfully phallocentric and at the same time there is so much more…..

  3. My favourite Greek hero is Odysseus, described in one source (quoted on Wikipedia) as “. . .tough, crafty, cheerful, of medium height, eloquent, and wise.” He’s definitley a warrior, but his fame was based on his cunning.

It’s interesting how differently different cultures configure male divinities. In Java, the most powerful and divine “man” is old, androgynous, flatulent, and asmatic. He is the most powerful man in Javanese mythology. As you can see in the photo of how he is represented in shadow-puppet theater, not a hunk.

  4. Thanks to Ben and the whole of this site for the positive reminder of the beauty, power and goodness of being men, not often heard these days in our society. Yes, men are the god that I worship with wonder.
