Let’s Go Outside

With its combination of knowing that you’re doing something a bit taboo and with the risk (or thrill) of getting caught in flagrante, having sex in public or the great outdoors – whether it’s on a secluded, sun-kissed beach, in a shaded forest surrounded by nature’s greenery, in a field, or even in an urban alleyway, park or on public transport – has got to be one of the most liberating, fun and, dare I say, primordial ways to get your sexual jollies. In England and Wales at least, outdoor sex and sex in public places (apart from public toilets) is not deemed to be an offence unless it’s actually witnessed or there’s a reasonable chance that at least two members of the public might see what you’re up to, in which case you could be charged with outraging public decency. To put it another way, sex in public isn’t consensual or respectful unless you’re doing it either where there’s no-one else around or is in front of a complicit audience that not only knows what’s going on but is positively getting off on it as well. If you’re not sure of the legal position regarding outdoor/public sex in your region, a quick search of the internet should provide the answers you need.

For many people, the very idea of having sex outdoors or in a public place will always be anathema, whether that’s for ethical reasons, reasons of perceived illegality, a personal affront to their sensibilities or due to the potential embarrassment of them being caught. Factor in other possible downsides such as risks to personal health and safety and it’s easy to see why getting it on outside is not for everyone. On the other hand, having seriously considered the issues of legality, personal safety and responsibility/respect for others, if it is your thing and you’re done with the sofa, the hall, the kitchen table or anywhere else in a domestic setting, do like the men in the images below and seek out a suitable location and partner(s), get yourself outdoors and get it on. – WFE
